Important: Sivolo is an analytical tool. It is not a crisis service, emergency service, or substitute for professional legal, medical, or psychological advice. 1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Sivolo Limited (Company Number 17240351, registered in England and Wales at 51 St Marys Road, Tonbridge, TN9 2LE) ("Sivolo", "we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the Sivolo app or any related service at sivolo.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. What Sivolo is — and is not

Sivolo uses artificial intelligence to help you identify patterns in message conversations that may be consistent with coercive or controlling behaviour. It is designed as a personal analytical tool to support self-recognition and, where relevant, evidence documentation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Sivolo. By using the Service you confirm that you are 17 or over. If you are under 17, you must not use the Service.

4. Your account

Some features of Sivolo require you to create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use another person's account without their permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

5.1 Paid tiers

Sivolo offers free and paid tiers. Paid tiers are available as one-off analysis packs or as auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, or annual). Prices are displayed in-app at the time of purchase and are charged in GBP.

5.2 Billing

All billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Sivolo Limited does not process or store your payment details. Subscription renewals are charged automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Apple ID or Google account settings.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases must be made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Play Store purchases must be made to Google. Sivolo Limited does not process refunds directly.

5.4 Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it applies to your renewal. You may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any data you submit to the Service. In the UK, processing another person's personal data without a lawful basis may be unlawful under UK GDPR.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of all message content you submit for analysis. By submitting content you grant Sivolo a limited, temporary licence to process it for the sole purpose of delivering the analysis to you. This licence terminates immediately when the analysis is complete. We do not use your content to train AI models or for any purpose other than delivering your requested analysis.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Sivolo app, website, analysis engine, brand, and documentation is owned by Sivolo Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary content.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

9.1 No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.

Analysis results are generated by AI and are probabilistic in nature. We do not warrant that analysis results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, including legal proceedings.

9.2 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sivolo Limited's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of opportunity, or emotional distress, arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9.3 Safety decisions

Sivolo analysis results must not be the sole basis for decisions about your safety or the safety of others. Always seek advice from qualified professionals — a domestic abuse specialist, IDVA, solicitor, or the police — before making significant safety decisions.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy, available at sivolo.app/privacy.

11. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party services including Anthropic (AI analysis) and Apple / Google (payments and identity). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

12. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 9, and 15) will continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
